The Space Down Under is another Savannah Ambitions community site aimed at inspiring Savannah’s leadership to implement innovative initiatives that match the city’s needs and ambitions and to carefully avoid mimicking measures taken elsewhere that do not fit its own circumstances.
This particular edition proposes an idea that addresses a major civic planning matter, the eastern and undeveloped riverside property adjacent to the commercial and historic heart of the city. In turn the idea provides a great opportunity for resolving a dilemma facing the city’s hospitality industry.
